About VBA Class

VBA Classes are taught by Glenn Harris, a Certified Technical Trainer, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Office Master Instructor.

Mr. Harris has taught Excel VBA programming for almost twenty years and has published a comprehensive 550 page manual that covers VBA programming from A to Z. All other VBA courses are copies of Mr. Harris’s class, which was launched in 2003.

Glenn has a B.S. in Operations Research from the University of Rhode Island. He worked for 15 years in corporate investment banking at leading companies in New York City where he taught Excel best-practices. Glenn earned the title of Chief Quantitative Market Strategist and built algorithmic trading models in the 1990s before the term became in vogue. Although Mr. Harris is mostly known for his Excel prowess his background prior to investment banking was to develop corporate database management systems with DBase, FoxPro, Access, Filemaker, and SQL Server. In his spare time Glenn enjoys building websites, playing chess, and optimizing complex SQL queries. Mr. Harris also holds the title of Adobe Certified Web and Print Master Instructor. Glenn also teaches the Adobe Create Suite, including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, FrameMaker, and Dreamweaver. He has recently begun to study Adobe Premiere as he makes his videos available for students and YouTube visitors.
